General Info
Welcome to the first BrandywineBOTS Winter IQ League.
We will be holding ranking sessions on the following Thursday evenings starting at 6PM starting on January 9, 2025, with the final session and champions awarded on February 13, 2025. Skills will be offered during all four Ranking Sessions.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.
For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.
Agenda
The league will meet at 6PM every Thursday below. We anticipate each evening to last less than 3 hours depending on the number of teams that atted the session.

For all sessions, teams may begin arriving at 5:30 and should be inspected by 6:00 pm. Teams will participate in several matches during a ranking session and we will have 1 skills field open. Teams will be able to participate in skills for each ranking session they attend. For the Finals Session, teams will be paired together based on the final rank at the end of all four ranking sessions. Skills will not be offered during this session and awards will be presented at the end of this night.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
We will notify the primary and secondary contacts in Robot Events in the event of a weather related cancellation. Sessions will not be made up, with the exception of the Finals Session.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
A full refund will be provided.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
A refund will be provided minus the $5 RECF fee if cancelled prior to the start of the league. Once the league has started there will not be any refunds available.
