General Info
Magikid Robotics Lab Headquarters is thrilled to present the Magikid Rapid Relay Rookie Tournament! This special end-of-season event brings together new teams across Southern California for an exciting VEX IQ competition.
Our goal is to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for all participants, fostering a love for robotics in a fun and engaging environment. This invitational is specially designed for new teams, providing a welcoming opportunity for beginner participants to build skills, foster sportsmanship, and form friendships. We’ll create a friendly environment with plenty of support to help everyone better understand the competition!
To enhance the experience, we will also add additional creative activities for students for the event.
We’ll have an exciting showcase for robot creations (in addition to your competition robot)! Feel free to bring along any fun robot projects your team has built. There will be a dedicated presentation area to display all these creations and an award segment to celebrate them as well!

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds after the registration deadline Jan 24, 2025.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
