General Info

Join us for the One More Run Tournament, the last competition for the season. St. Luke's is proud to host a VEX IQ Robotics Competition. Join us on February, 15th for a great tournament and for most of us, a fun way to wrap up the season. For those that earned their spot to regionals, this is a chance to fine tune your skills and stay in shape before the regional tournament.

If you would like to share your field in lieu of registration fees please reach out. We could use another 2-3 fields to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

Agenda is tentative, thank you for being flexible. Our goal is to have a fun and safe competition, as efficiently as possible. 

7:00 AM - Volunteer Check-In and orientation

7:30AM - Team Check-In, Inspection, Pit Setup

8:00 AM - Coach's Meeting 

8:15 AM - Opening Ceremonies

8:15 AM - 11:15 AM - Robot Skills Challenge Matches, Qualification Matches and Judging will run concurrently

11:30 AM -12:30 PM - Lunch Break

12:30 PM - 3:00 PM - Robot Skills Challenge Matches, Qualification Matches and Judging will run concurrently

3:00 PM - Robot Skills will close

3:15 - 4:00 PM - Eliminations, Finals, Awards

Volunteer

We cannot put these tournaments on without Volunteers. Volunteers will receive breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day.  Coaches, parents, and older siblings/students who can volunteer in any capacity are welcome. We would especially appreciate anyone with judging experience for engineering notebooks.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an unforessen weather event we will attempt to reschedule, If another date is not availiable, the event will be cancelled. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

If the Event Partner cancels the event, refunds will be given (minus the processing fee).

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

After registration closes, no refunds will be given except in the case of bad weather (minus the processing fee).

Judging Format

 

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
