Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

THIS EVENT WILL NOT HAVE A MAKE UP DATE. 

A WEATHER RELATED EVENT CANCELATION WILL BE MADE ACCORDING TO THE SCHOOL CLOSING POLICIES OF COLLEGIUM CHARTER SCHOOL.  IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELATION YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.  REGISTRATION FEES WILL BE RETURNED MINUS THE $5 PROCESSING FEE ASSESSED BY ROBOT EVENTS.

Refund and Payment Policies

REFUNDS WILL BE MADE ONLY  IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED.  REFUNDS WILL NOT INCLUDER THE $5 PROCESSING FEE. 

REGISTRATION FEES ARE DUE 1 WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT. 

IF YOUR TEAM HAS NOT MADE PAYMENT OR HAS NOT CONTACTED KATHLEEN CORTLESSA ([email protected]  740-243-7669) CONCERNING A CONFLICT YOUR TEAM WILL BE PLACED ON THE WAITING LIST. 

REGISTRATION FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR TEAMS THAT REGISTER AND DO NOT ATTEND.

 

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.

Please make sure that your team profile is updated with a link to your notebook

DIGITAL NOTEBOOKS ARE DUE BY 4PM FRIDAY JANUARY 24TH.

ALL TEAMS WILL PARTICIPATE IN IN-PERSON INTERVIEWS.
