General Info

Monett 1st Annual VEX IQ Tournament - Rapid Relay - Last Chance will be held at Monett Middle School on February 1, 2025

Important:

All teams MUST have their consent forms updated and uploaded to robotevents.com or bring it to the event.

Concessions will be available.

 

We are offering the following incentives. 

1. If your organization provides a judge (or judges) we will offer free registration for one registration. (This is easier if you reach out to me directly and we can enter them without the $5 robotevents fee. 

2. If you commit to bringing a practice field, we will give your organization (2) fast passes for skills. (1 driving 1 autonomous)

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Volunteer

 

 

No experience is required for most of our volunteer positions.

However volunteers should have an interest and enthusiasm for robotics.

Free snacks and drinks for all working volunteers will be provided.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The event partner will make decisions about weather or infectious illnesses as the issues arise. Teams will be notified immediately about any changes to the event dates or locations. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

  • Teams will receive a full refund.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

  • If notifed 10 business days before the the event day (January 20, 2025) a refund will be granted. After January 21 no refund will be issued. 

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
