General Info
Please join us at LaSalle Prep School for a day filled with the Rapid Relay Competition
- Fields – We will have 3 skills fields during the first hour of the event so that all teams can complete their 3 driver and 3 autonomous skills matches. During the event we will have 2 match fields and 3 practice fields. Your teams must have passed inspection to be on the practice field. Please have teams reset the field after they are done.
- Pits – Each team will have a pit area with a table and chairs. More chairs will be available if needed. Teams will have access to power so please bring your own charging stations.
- Displays and Monitors – There will be screens setup around the gym/cafeteria that will display the skills as well as upcoming matches.
- Concessions - We will have not have concession but will have school breakfast and lunches for all students. You may bring your own and there is a 7-Eleven across the street in case you forget anything
- Lunch will be put out at noon but we will not stop competetion for lunch so please be prepared to eat inbetween matches.

At this time we will not need any additional volunteers.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of impending bad weather, we will work with the host site to determine if the event can be held on the regularly scheduled day and time. If the event cannot continue on its original schedule, every effort will be made to either keep the event on the same day with an adjusted schedule or reschedule the event to a different date and/or location. Updates will be provided via email and posted to the event webpage on RobotEvents.com.
Please check with Niagara Falls School District webpage to see if school is closed for inclement weather.
Refund and Payment Policies
Refunds will not be issued for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, if a team cancels their attendance to this VIQRC Competition and weather.

Please arrive at the ramp door in the parking lot behind the school. You will then be escourted to your pit area after you have checked in.

Judging Format
- In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews will be judged in-person the day of the event.
- Engineering Notebooks must be submitted electronically by 9am on Monday of the event week. Directions will be sent via email.
- Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges when arriving on event day also
