Welcome to Vinci VEX IQ Rapid Relay Qualifier at Lexington (March 1st, 2025)

Open to all level teams.

Pizza will be provided to team members and coaches. 

Food stand will be available for pizza and snack purchases.

 

Make sure that all students have filled out the Participant Release Form and submit them online.

We will warn you of the weather in advance.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda

  • 8:30 AM: Doors Open
  • 8:30 – 9:30 AM: Check-In, Registration & Inspection
    • Note: All teams must complete the inspection by 9:45 AM. Please submit your Digital Engineering Notebooks by the previous Sunday (11:59 PM) via the Robot Events portal.
  • 9:30 – 9:45 AM: Welcome Meeting
  • 9:45 AM – 2:45 PM: Skills Challenge Fields Open
    • Note: Skills Challenge lines will close at 2:00 PM. Teams still in line at that time will have a chance to finish their Skills matches. Each team is allowed 3 Driver Skills Challenges and 3 Programming Challenges.
  • 9:45 AM – 12:00 PM: Qualification Rounds
  • 12:00 – 12:30 PM: Lunch Break (Pizza will be provided for team members and coaches)
  • 12:30 – 2:45 PM: Continued Qualification Rounds
  • 3:00 – 3:30 PM: Teamwork Challenge Finals & Awards

Judging Format

Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews:

  • Engineering notebooks are required to be submitted digitally through RobotEvents.com. The submission deadline is by the prior Sunday (by 11:59 PM) before the event
  • Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event.
