General Info

Welcome to Vinci VEX IQ Rapid Relay Qualifier at Lexington (January 18th, 2025)

Open to all level teams. 

Pizza will be provided to team members and coaches. 

Food stand will be available for pizza and snack purchases.

 

Make sure that all students have filled out the Participant Release Form and submit them online.

We will warn you of the weather in advance.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda

  • 8:30 am - Doors Open
  • 8:30 am - 9:30 am - Check-In/Registration/Inspection
    • Note: All teams must be through inspection by 9:45 am
    • Notebooks must be turned in one day (by 11:59 PM) before the event through the Digital Engineering Notebook portal on Robot Events
  • 9:30 am - 9:45 am - Welcome Meeting
  • 9:45 am - 2:00 pm - Skills Challenge Fields Open
    • Note: Skills Challenge lines will close at 2 pm. Any teams in line at that time will have an opportunity to complete their Skills matches. Each team will be able to run 3 Driver Skills Challenges and 3 Programming Challenges.
  • 9:45 am - 12:00 pm - Qualification Rounds
  • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Break for lunch 
  • 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Qualification Rounds 
  • 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm - Teamwork Challenge Finals and Awards

Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews:

  • Engineering notebooks are required to be submitted digitally through RobotEvents.com. The submission deadline is one day (by 11:59 PM) before event day.
