Code of Conduct

IF VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED AN EMAIL WILL GO OUT REQUESTING HELP ONE WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

THIS EVENT HAS NO MAKE UP DATE.  A WEATHER RELATED EVENT CANCELATION WILL BE MADE ACCORDING TO THE QUAKERTOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT POLICIES.

 

IN THE EVENT OF A WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATION TEAMS WILL BE NOTIFIED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND REGISTRATION FEES WILL BE RETURNED MINUS THE $5.00 PROCESSING FEE.

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds will only be made if the event is cancelled by the Quakertown School District for inclement weather.  Refunds will NOT include the $5 processing fee assessed by Robot Events. 

Registration fees are due 1 week before the event.  If you team hasn't paid by the due date and the event partner has not been contacted Beth Roth, 267-377-5750, [email protected], concerning payment, the team will be placed on the waiting list.

 

REGISTRATION FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR TEAMS THAT REGISTER BUT CHOOSE NOT TO COME.

 

Health and Safety Policies

WITH REGARD TO HEALTH AND SAFETY UPR WILL FOLLOW THE LOCAL POLICIES THAT ARE IN EFFECT.  THESE POLICIES MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND IF SO, YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL OF SUCH CHANGES.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.

Please make sure that your team profile has been updated with a link to your notebook.

DIGITAL NOTEBOOKS ARE DUE BY 6PM FRIDAY JANUARY 17TH

Teams that qualify for the in-person interview will be notified early in the week of January 19th
