General Info

Thank you for registering for St Martin Jackets STEAM Team Rapic Relay Mixed  Tournament. Please ensure that your teams have paid for the event prior to Oct 7, 2024.

Please have your teams upload their notebooks by Oct 21 so they can be reviewed prior to the competition.

Ensure that all team members and mentors have completed release forms prior to the event. It is preferred that you post them online through the following link https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/5ab2c50d92047/web/  The advantage to this is it is one and done. Once entered, it is there for the season.

There will be no lunch break. We will have lunch and snack items available for purchase through our concesssion stand throughout the day.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

VEX Competitions depend on volunteers.

Also, please consider completing the Judge Advocate and Head Referee training. You will be assigned a certificate upon successful completion of the courses.

Refund and Payment Policies

Registration fees will be reimbursed if the Event Partner cancells the competition.

There will be no refunds for event registered teams if the Mentor or Coach cancel after registration.

 

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Notebook submission date is October 21, 2024. Notebooks submitted after this date will not be accepted.
