We are excited to host VEX IQ teams in Candia! 

We will have a basic concession stand with snacks and drinks,  Pizza will be need to be pre-ordered and we will send an email with price and order information the week prior to the event.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

8:00-8:30 am:  Team Check-In

8:30 am:  Deadline for checking in.  Teams who have NOT checked in by this time or called/text 603-785-4808 will NOT be placed in the match schedule.

8:00-8:45 am:  Robot Inspections

8:45 am:  Event Meeting and Opening Ceremonies.  

9:00 am-12:00 pm: Qualification Team Matches. Skills Open

12:00-12:30 pm:  Lunch.  

12:30-1:30 pm: Qualification Team Matches and Skills Open

1:30-2:30 pm: Final Matches and Awards

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event is cancelled or delayed, the primary contact of every team will be notified and a notice will be posted on this event page.

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds are available to teams that cancel by November 9, 2024.  We will refund you the cost of the registration fee, minus the $5 Robot Events service fee.  To request a refund, please email Catherine Sangillo at [email protected].

Judging Format

In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
