We do our best to run a fair, effecient, and student centered tournament.
Please make sure event fees are paid by the due date. If paying day of, please contact the EP in advance.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If local area weather is bad enough to warrant a tournament cancellation, an email will be sent to the coaches/contacts of registered teams by 6 PM the day before the tournament. (Feb 14) Please make sure your team's contact information is accurate.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event a refund will be issued to the teams at the earliest possible time.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
If a coach or mentor contacts the event partner to withdraw before January 31st to the event a refund shall be issued not including the RECF processing fee.
If a team withdraws after January 31st, or is a no show on the day of refunds will not be issued.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook and will be able to drop them off at check-in.
