General Info
Black Hawk Robotics is excited to host the Rockwall ISD 2024 Robotics Invitational at the Rockwall-Heath High School Ninth Grade Campus.
This event is an Invitational Event for Rockwall ISD teams only. If the event does not fill up, then non-Rockwall ISD teams may be added to fill the event. Teams will need to add themselves to the Waitlist first, then the event administrator will add them to the event. You will receive a notification once your team is added to the event list of teams. This event is open to spectators.
Tournament Information:
We will provide two game fields and one skills field.
Teams are welcome to bring practice fields as space permits. All practice fields must be shared with all tournament participants.
Concessions will be available.
Black Hawk Robotics invites your team to participate in our partnership with 6:30 Outfitters to help provide holiday and birthday presents for teens in the foster care system in Rockwall and surrounding counties.
Please consider donating a $10 gift card for a local merchant that can be used for stocking stuffers or birthday bags. Gift card choices could include restaurants, movies, entertainment venues, apparel, and/or beauty options.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
All cancellations will be communicated through email. Please check your email the day before and the morning of the tournament (before leaving).
Unfortunately, there will not be a make-up tournament in case of weather cancellations.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event, a refund will be issued to registered teams.
If the Coach/Mentor cancels team registration no later than Friday, December 6, 2024, a refund will be issued for the canceling team. No refund will be issued for teams canceling or withdrawing after Friday, December 6, 2024.
If the Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and the team chooses to not attend, no refund will be issued to the team.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
The deadline to submit Digital Engineering Notebooks is Tuesday, December 10, 2024, COB.
