General Info

The tournament will take place Saturday, February 8th along with awards Saturday afternoon. This will be a teaching/learning tournament with all coaches and adult volunteers assigned to various roles in the tournament. If you would like to be a judge or a referee, please let the Event Partner know and you will be provided with the training materials. You will be contacted closer to the event with more details. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please email David Tran at [email protected]. Participants will be required to submit the VEX liability release form. This document is located under the documents tab.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Volunteers are essential to a successful tournament. No prior experience is necessary.  Thank you, in advance, for volunteering!  If you have an area of expertise, such as judging or refereeing, email [email protected] to volunteer. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, updates will be made by email.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will only be made if the event is cancelled. Refunds will not include the $5 processing fee assessed by Robot Events for processing.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Registrations will not be refunded for teams that register but choose not to come. 

Judging Format

 Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
