General Info
We welcome local teams of girls to join us for a Skills Only Event at the Indy Women in Tech Headquarters (10555 Group 1001 Way, Zionsville). Participants will have the opportunity to complete both driving and programming skills attempts. If you have a team with at least one girl you should consider attending!
This event is designed with new teams in mind so even if you haven't made much progress on your robot you should still come! If it can drive, it can do this! Just a reminder that when you complete a skills challenge, your team's score gets added to the global skills standings list and can qualify your team for the state championship in March.
If you haven't done any coding, no problem! You don't have to complete the programming attempts or if you have a start to your programming we will have programming support on site for the students to learn. In addition, your students will learn from a panel of high school robotics students and parents will be encouraged to attend a parent session to learn more about robotics and how to best support their student.
*Note that this event will be limited to 25 teams and is a girl-centered event, but boys are welcome to attend as well.
A confirmation email with additional logistics will be sent to teams once they register.
All students must have an adult in attendance with them at the event. Students will not be permitted to be dropped off.
