Welcome to the first Biscuit Bake-Off hosted by Biscuit Robotics & Golden Warriors Robotics! We are very excited to welcome teams to compete at Jordan High School in Katy ISD.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Saturday 12/7

7:00 am - Volunteers arrive, doors not open to teams. 
8:00 am - Team Load In to Pit Area, Team Check-In Opens, Inspection Open
9:00 am - Team/Driver Meeting, Inspection Closes, Team Check-in Closes
9:30 am - Qualifying Rounds Begin, Skills Challenge Opens
12:00 pm - Lunch Break, Skills Challenge continues through lunch
1:00 pm - Qualifying Rounds Resume, Skills Challenge closes at the end of the last qual match
4:00 pm - Teamwork Finals & Awards
5:00 pm - Venue Closed

Volunteer

Volunteers are what make VEX events happen.  Our biggest need for each event are judges, and no experience is needed.  Volunteers certified for NHS & President Volunteer Service hours. Will receive T shirt, lunch & snacks throughout the day.  Contact the Beige Chen [email protected] if you would like to volunteer. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

All cancellations will be communicated through email. Please check your email the day before and the morning of the tournament (before leaving).  If neccessary, we will make every effort to reschedule the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event, will refund.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend, then no refund.

 

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions should be complete by December 2nd.
