This event is an Invitational League for teams. Teams must be registered on RobotEvents.com and registered for the league prior to the first league event date. If you would like to take part, please add your team to the Waitlist List. If we can accomodate your team, we will add you to the registered team list.

VEX IQ Qualifying League

This VEX IQ event is a qualifying event to the Washington VEX IQ State Championships.  The event must meet the VEX IQ Qualifying Criteria for the results to upload to RobotEvents, which can be viewed in the Uploaded Documents event tab.  The state qualification spots are determined by the capacity of the State Championship, the number of events in the state, and the size of the event.These spots will be filled by the Regional Support Manager after the event has been uploaded and the results have been verified.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda

Tentative Schedule:

5:00PM - Team Arrival — ALL VEX IQ teams must be ready to play at 5:15PM.  We will do inspection for size for all VEX IQ teams, so as soon as you arrive, proceed to the inspection area.

5:15PM - VEX IQ Drivers meeting general run of the day announcements for all

5:30PM - First VEX IQ Match - minimum 2 matches per team.

8PM - Clean Up

Volunteer

We are in need of volunteers to help with set up and take down.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
