General Info

This VEX IQ Event will allow teams to meet and greet each other, show good sportsmanship, and some friendly competition. This event is sure to be fast-paced and exciting! All teams should come prepared for competition. 

Final Tournament Information will be sent to both Primary and Secondary Team contacts 1 week before competition day

Teams must pay registration fee by 2 weeks before competition day, or they will be moved to the waitlist and risk losing their spot. 

Teams will be allowed 1 coach in the Pita Area. Inspection and Practice Fields are for students and event staff ONLY. Parents, friends, and anyone else associated with your organization, please refrain from entering the inspection, skills, pit area, and practice fields.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

9:45-10:00AM - Drivers Meeting

10:00-12:30PM – Qualifying matches begin

12:30-1:15PM – Lunch Break

1:15-3:00PM – Qualifying matches continue

3:00-4:00PM – Final Matches and Awards Ceremony

4:00-5:00PM – Clean Up

Volunteer

Our tournament is 100% dependent upon volunteers. We appreciate everyone who is able to help and many volunteer responsibilities require no previous knowledge or experience. Whether you can volunteer for an hour or the whole event, we thank you for your help!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The tournament will go on unless the interstates are closed for bad weather. Coaches will be contacted via email or phone based on the registration information in the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather. 

If the event is canceled, then "CANCELED" will appear in the title of the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

Unfortunately, due to the costs associated with hosting events, no refunds will be available for this event.

 

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / Remote Judging: The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Initial Interviews and Notebook submission deadlines may be scheduled ahead of the event date.

Please submit your digitial engineering notebook 2 weeks before competition date.
