General Info

This is tournament #2 for the Marksmen. Have your notebooks ready to bring in person. We always provide a fair and honest competition with rookies and veteran teams alike. Get those muscle memory fingers warmed up and do your best. Cheer on your favorite teams but no coaching from the sidelines.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the cancellation is due to something on our end, we will refund your registration minus the $5.00 VEX fee.

If it something on your end, sorry, there will be no refunds.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

If the tournament is cancelled due to bad weather, we will refund the registration fee minus the $5.00 for  VEX charges. Please allow ample time. You will be notified the night before if we have to cancel.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If the tournament is held and you cannot come for some reason, there are no refunds.

 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
