General Info

The Girls & Gears tournament is a unique opportunity to celebrate emerging young women in STEM! To qualify for this event your team MUST be at least 50% girls. All other teams can register for our other tournament happening at the same time and location, but in a different part of the school. Click here for all the information you need to know for this event.

This event will be happening at the same school and the same time as another event. However, it will be held inside of a different part of the school. Please make arrangements accordingly if you register teams for both events. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR THE REGULAR TOURNAMENT (no girl requirement)

In the event of inclinate weather the event will be rescheduled.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

A full refund, minus $5 processing fee, will be given.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refund given. 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
