General Info

Chaparral Robo Sharks are excited to host the VEX IQ Rapid Relay tournament to be held at Chaparral Elementary School in Gilbert, AZ.   Students and attendees are sure to have a fun-filled day of robotics competition! Make sure you don't forget batteries, chargers, and license plates! 

Food and drinks are available for purchase at our concession stand.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Refund and Payment Policies

Payment deadline is 

If the Event Partner cancels the event a full refund will be given.

$5 RobotEvents fee will not be included in any refunds.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend no refund will be given.

 

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
  • All notebooks should be uploaded no later than noon on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
