General Info
WELCOME TO BAD AXE SCHOOLS IQ RAPID RELAY TOURNAMENT 2024-2025.
This is an in-person tournament with a robot skills challenge and judging.
Date and Location:
This event will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in the gym of Bad Axe High School, located at 200 N. Barrie Road, Bad Axe, MI. Parking will be on the west side of the facility for easy entry into the gym.
Cost:
The payment of $75 per team is expected at the time of registration through Robotevent.com, otherwise team will be waitlisted to allow for other teams who are prepared to join.
Notebooks:
This event will be using DIGITAL notebooks. Please have a link to your digital notebook tied to your team account on or before February 5th. Physical notebooks will not be accepted.
Consent Forms:
We will also be checking Robotevents.com for teams' consent forms. Coaches, please make sure all your team members have completed this online through Robotevents.com. This is located in your account for your teams.
Lunch:
Lunch will be provided at our concession stand. A menu will be sent to coaches closer to the event date.
This is the seventh year we held an in-person tournament at Bad Axe High School. We are excited to have you join us for this event!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Please check the General Information for this event at Robotevents.com for cancellation or delay in the case of inclement weather or other unforeseen events that may require us to make changes to our original plans. For inclement weather forecasts on the day of the event, we will update the General Information no later than 5 AM.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Should we at Bad Axe School cancel the in-person tournament Bad Axe Schools VRC Over Under 2023-24, refunds in the amount of $95 will be issued back to the schools/organizations that have registered.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
There will be no refund.
Judging Format
Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
