General Info
The Spartan Robotics Club from St. Joseph School is hosting this VEX IQ elementary/middle school tournament in the Blue (north) gym of Rice Lake High School as part of a VEX-A-Mania event in which a V5RC tournament is taking place simultanousy in an adjacent gym. This is an early season tournament for both elementary and middle school VEX IQ teams participating in this year's game "Rapid Relay".
General Info
This is a blended tournament with elementary and middle school teams.
There will be skills matches and onsite judging.
There will be onsite concessions between 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Judging
All In-Person Judging will take place the day of event. Prepare for your interviews with the judges and read the Judge's Guide. Check the awards tab to see what awards will be given during the tournament.
Engineering notebooks
To be eligible for any judged awards, teams must a physical copy of their engineering notebook upon arrival at the event. Notebooks will be returned upon the conclusion of judging at the event.

State Qualifying Spot Assignments for Wisconsin VEX IQ Events
Details about qualifying spots at events are still being determined and will be posted in October.
Participation and Consent Form
A completed form for all participants must be uploaded to robotevents.com prior to the tournament. Team leaders will need to check that all team members attending the event have completed the online consent form prior to the tournament. Tournament Arrival
Teams should park in the west lot of Rice Lake High School and enter through the W9 marked doors. There will be a marked VEX IQ checkin table at the entrance of the Blue (north) gym.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Teams will be contacted via email if inclement whether will impact the tournament.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Teams will receive a full refund.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Teams will only recieve a $45 refund if notified by before November 15th, 2024
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit which will be handed in at the VEX IQ event check-in table upon arrival.
