General Info

We are so excited to have your teams compete at this event!! It will be held at Lomond View Elementary in Pleasant View, and will be a qualifying event for the Utah State Championship!*

Please note that physical Engineering Notebooks will not be accepted at this event. All digital notebooks must be submitted via the My Account area on RobotEvents by 3:00pm on Monday, January 6th. 

There will be concessions for sale, cash or card.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

  • 8:00am - 9:00 am: Team Set-up, Check-in & Inspection
  • 9:00am - 9:15 am: Drivers Meeting
  • 9:15am - 11:15am: Teamwork Challenges
  • 11:30am - 11:45: Finals Matches
  • 11:45am - 12:00pm: Awards

        * Each team will be allowed 3 Skills matches for both Driver Skills & Autonomous Skills

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event the tournament must be cancelled due to weather, a full refund minus $5/team (non-refundable site fee) will be issued.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

These will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please be aware this may include no refund. No shows will not recieve a refund.

*Payment due date is January 4th. All unpaid teams after this date will be moved to the Waitlist.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation no later than Monday, January 6th @ 3:00pm via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
