Welcome to the SVVSD Eagle Crest 2024-2025 Rapid Relay Tournament. We look forward to hosting you!

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews:

  • Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.
  • Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
  • Submission Deadline for Notebooks will be communicated with Registered Teams via Email.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

Schedule (subject to change)

  • 8:00 Doors Open: The front doors of the school will open for teams at 8:00 am. Volunteers may enter the exterior cafeteria doors between 7:30 and 8:00 for check-in.

  • 8:00-8:30 Team Check-In & Inspection: Queue up your team for Robot Inspection immediately after you check-in and find your pit table.  

  • 8:30-10:30 Judging and Skills: Pay attention to the judging schedule for your approximate times and complete all required skills matches. Judging sessions will take place in the music room. Skills will be in the gym. 

  • 10:30-10:45 Opening Remarks and Drivers Meeting: Be seated promptly at 10:30 in the gymnasium (teams in front) for opening remarks and important information. 

  • 10:45-12:00 Qualification Matches: Teams will queue up from the cafeteria into the gymnasium.

  • 12:00-12:30 Lunch: Qualification matches will be paused at 12:00 for teams and volunteers to have lunch. 

  • 12:30-2:00 (approx) Qualification Matches Continued

  • 2:00-2:30 (approx) Finals Matches

  • 2:30 (approx): Awards

    • Times for qualification, finals, and awards are approximate based on the flow of the tournament

Volunteer

We are looking for Volunteers from teams.These volunteers help make sure the tournaments run smoothly.

  • Check In Table

  • Robot Inspection - will be train onsite 

  • Queuing Manager

  • Pit Manager

  • Field Reset (3rd Grade and up!)

  • Scorekeeping Refs

  • Judges

 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of INCLEMENT WEATHER (as determined by SVVSD) the tournament will be canceled and no refunds will be available.

Refund and Payment Policies

 

Payment Deadline:

Payments for this tournament are due the Tuesday prior to the event @ 4:00 PM MST


If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus the $5.00 non-refundable RobotEvents fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Withdrawing from the tournament?  Refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus the $5.00 non-refundable RobotEvents fee.
