Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews:

  • Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.
  • Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
  • Submission Deadline for Notebooks will be Thursday January 30yth by 5pm.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Schedule (subject to change)

  • 8:00 am - 8:30 am         Team Check-in, Inspection 

  • 8:30 -8:35am                  Meeting to discuss logistics and plan for the day

  • 8:40  AM - 10:40AM      Finish Robot Inspection, Judging Interviews and Skills Matches

  • 10:45 AM - 10:55 AM    Event Meeting - all teams meet by main fields 

  • 10:55 am - 12:15 PM    Qualifications Matches.

  • 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM    Lunch 

  • 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM      Qualifications and  Finals Matches Skills end after qualifiers

  • 3:15 PM - 3:30 PM         Awards Presentation

  • Robot Inspection - will be train onsite 

  • Queuing Manager

  • Judges

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of INCLEMENT WEATHER (as determined by SVVSD) the tournament will be canceled and no refunds will be available.

Refund and Payment Policies

Payment Deadline:

Payments for this tournament are due the Tuesday prior to the event @ 4:00 PM MST


If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus the $5.00 non-refundable RobotEvents fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Withdrawing from the tournament?  Refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus the $5.00 non-refundable RobotEvents fee.

Judging Format
