General Info
Welcome to the 5th Annual Damien Spartan Challenge IQ (MS only). We are excited to bring together some of Southern California's finest teams and battle for a chance to go to the state championships. If this event is full please place yourself on the wait list.
Teams that have not checked in 45 minutes prior to the beginning of the qualifying matches will be dropped from the roster so that the match list may be run. Teams that are running late must contact the event partner prior to this cut off if they do not wish to be dropped.
Please note that teams must pay for the event 3 weeks after they have registered for the event or at least 3 weeks before the event, whichever comes first. Teams that have not paid in that timeframe will be dropped from the event and may lose their spot. Please see our refund policy for further details.
Match Lists will be generated as scheduled and cannot be re-run.

A completed form for all participants must be uploaded on robotevents.com.
Judging
Judging interviews will be in person on the day of the event. Engineering Notebooks will be judged remotely and teams will need to submit a link to their notebook on robotevents.com no later than Wednesday Jan. 15th by 5pm. Teams that do not have a digital notebook will need to scan their notebook and create a pdf or other digital format for their notebook. If you have never done this before, please contact the Event Partner with questions.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
The event partner will contact teams if the event must be postponed. Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date on RobotEvents.com and includes both school and non-school email addresses and phone numbers.
Refund and Payment Policies
All requests for refunds must be made three weeks prior to the event. Refunds, if approved, will be processed within one month following the event.
Payment in full is required 3 weeks after you register for the event if you are registering before Dec. 1st. After Dec. 1st, payment must be made in full within 2 weeks of registering. All teams not paid in full within 3 weeks of the event will be dropped from the event.
If you are paying with a PO, please contact the event partner and let them know when you have submitted it to RECF.

Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The submission deadline is Wednesday Jan. 15th by 5:00pm
