General Info

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO JANUARY 25TH DUE TO THE WEATHER

 

We are excited to host an event and see teams on our campus to play Rapid Relay!

This tournament will have Qualification and Finals matches. Skills Challenges will be available to all teams. Skills will be closed during lunch. 

Please make sure all payment is made no later than January 17, 2024.  If paying via PO please send me an email so I know it's being paid through recf.

We're looking forward to a great tournament!

Judging Format: Digital Notebooks due no later than January 18th at midnight.  Please update your link on your team page.  First Round interviews will be held in one location.  Second round interview locations will be decided by the judges.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, notice of cancellation will be made via email.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will only be made if the event is cancelled by Brentwood Academy. Refunds will not include the $5 processing fee assessed by Robot Events for processing. Registrations will not be refunded for teams that register but choose not to come. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If cancelled by December 11th a full refund minus the $5 processing fee will be returned.  Cancellations after December 11th will not receive a refund.  If a school is bringing more than 5 teams and needs to cancel 1 team, a refund minus the $5 processing fee will be returned up to 1 week before the event.

 

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
