Join us for a howling good Vex IQ Tournament at the San Antonio Academy campus located in the historic Monte Vista neighborhood of old San Antonio.
Rumor has it that ghosts may haunt some of our stately old buildings, come find out for yourself at the blended SAA Monster Bots Tourney for ES and MS Vex IQ teams. Get into the spirit and join us for a fun day of robots, teamwork, and spooctacular fun!!
We have a lovely campus, easy parking, ample seating areas, and on-site concessions.

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda
Agenda is tentative, thank you for being flexible. Our goal is to have a fun and safe competition, as efficiently as possible.
7:00 AM - Volunteer Check-In and orientation
7:30AM - Team Check-In, Inspection, Pit Setup
8:00 AM - Coach's Meeting
8:15 AM - Opening Ceremonies
8:15 AM - 11:15 AM - Robot Skills Challenge Matches, Qualification Matches and Judging will run concurrently
11:30 AM -1 2:30 PM - Lunch Break
12:30 PM - 3:00 PM - Robot Skills Challenge Matches, Qualification Matches and Judging will run concurrently
3:00 PM - Robot Skills will close
3:15 - 4:00 PM - Eliminations, Finals, Awards
Volunteer
Volunteers make robotics events possible. Volunteers will receive breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day. Coaches, parents, and older siblings/students who can volunteer in any capacity are welcome. We would especially appreciate anyone with judging experience for engineering notebooks.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
We will attempt to reschedule if the weather requires. If another date is unavailable the event will be cancelled.
Refund and Payment Policies
Payment due by October 23 by 5:00 pm or your spot will go to teams on waitlist.
If the Event Partner cancels the event, refunds will be given (minus the processing fee).
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend, refunds will not be given.
After registration closes, no refunds will be given except in the case of bad weather (minus the processing fee).
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
