General Info

This is an Elementary Vex IQ Rapid Relay tournament event.  It will be held at Abraham Lincoln Elementary in Perry Township.

There will be state spots allocated to the 2 Teamwork Champions.  There will be a state spot for the Excellence Award if we reach 33 teams.

Additional awards will be Excellence Award, Judge's Award. Sportsmanship, Design Award, and Skills Champion.

Any team not paid within one week of the event will be transferred to the waitlist.

Concessions will be available all day for snacks and lunches.  Concessions are cash only. 

All participants and coaches must fill out the online participant's release form.

Teams must upload their engineering notebook in Robot Events by February 14th to be eligible for any judge's awards. (Excellence award, Design award, or Judge's award)

No additional volunteers are needed at this time.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event that this tournament cannot take place due to inclement weather, we will reschedule the event.  If a team is not able to attend the newly scheduled event, we will provide a refund minus the processing fees.

Refund and Payment Policies

All teams need to be present and checked in prior to the start of the competition. Refunds will not be issued to teams who arrive after competition rounds have begun. 

In the event that this tournament cannot take place due to inclement weather, we will reschedule the event.  If a team is not able to attend the newly scheduled event, we will provide a refund minus the processing fees.

If your team decides to withdraw, you must submit the request to withdraw by February 14th.  We will refund the registration cost minus the processing fees.

Refunds can take 2 to 3 months to process.

 

Judging Format

 Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Digital notebooks should be submitted by February 14th.
