General Info

This is an Elementary Vex IQ Rapid Relay tournament event.  It will be held in the Perry Meridian Middle School gymnasium.

State Spots will be given to the 2 Teamwork Champions and the team that earns the Excellence Award.

Any team not paid within two weeks of the event will be transferred to the waitlist.

Concessions will be available all day for snacks and lunches.  A more detailed menu will be sent closer to the event.   Concessions are cash only. 

 

All participants and coaches must complete the online participant's release form.

All engineering notebooks must be uploaded into Robot Events for judging.  Notebooks must be submitted by January 10th.

If your team needs any special accommodations, please contact Melinda Williams or Natasha Cummings, in advance, so that arrangements can be made to meet the needs of your team.

There is space available for a few practice fields.  Please let us know if you plan to bring your practice field so that we may develop a plan that puts your pit close to your field.

Code of Conduct

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event that this tournament cannot take place due to inclement weather, we will attempt to reschedule.

Refund and Payment Policies

If your team needs to withdraw, we will refund your fees minus the service fees up to January 10th.  The coach must contact us via email stating their intention to back out by noon on January 10th.

All teams need to be present and checked in before the start of the competition. Refunds will not be issued to teams who arrive after competition rounds have begun. 

If this tournament cannot take place due to inclement weather, we will attempt to reschedule the event.  If a team is not able to participate on the newly scheduled date, or the event was unable to be rescheduled, we will refund the fees minus any service fees.

 

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Digital notebooks should be submitted by January 10th.
