Welcome to the 2024-2025 Mercer County Blended League

2024-2025 League Play Format: 

  • Each League Play Event will consist of (3) qualification matches. Additionally, each team will be permitted to complete (3) driver skills matches and (3) programming skills matches. 

  • The final League Play Event will serve as a divisional championship. All teams will be invited to the county championship event to be held at the end of the regular season.      

  • In accordance to rule T10, team rankings will be based on the number of matches played. Teams that participate in less than 60% of the total matches available will be ranked below teams that participate in at least 60% of the total matches available. 

  • Teams will have their lowest qualification match scores dropped based on the number of qualification matches each team plays.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

  • Doors open at 4:00 p.m.
  • Inspection will begin at 4:15 p.m.
  • Skills open from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
  • Qualification matches will begin at 4:30 p.m.

During the division finals, the top 12 teams will compete for the division championship at the conclusion of the qualification matches. 

Volunteer

Volunteers Needed!

The Mercer County Schools Blended Robotics League offers volunteer opportunities to help with event setup / cleanup, concessions, qualfication match queing, and Skills Challenge scoring. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old and approved by the league director. Mercer County Schools students may earn service hours by volunteering at league events.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather or schedule changes, all attendees will be notified by email as well as a county call.

Refund and Payment Policies

This league is an invitation-only event and is FREE to participating Mercer County schools.

 

Judging Format

This league does NOT offere judged awards. Judging will be offered during the county championship event as well as the county open event.
