General Info
The Omaha Area VEX IQ League's mission is to provide convenient opportunities for Emerging elementary and middle school students in Omaha Metro area to compete in local robotics tournaments. League Play dates are especially designed to be an introduction to VEX IQ for young and new teams, the shorter format allows each event to last about 2.5 hours.
The Championship Event for the Omaha Area VEX IQ League Play will be held in the final session on Dec 16th, 2024 at Mary Our Queen Catholic School. The top twenty-four (26) teams from the qualification Ranking will participate in Finals at the Championship Event. These twenty-four (26) teams will be automatically paired into twelve (12) Alliances. The top scoring alliance in Finals will earn the Tournament Champion Award.
Skills Challenges will be available at each League Play event to all teams, with 3 Max Driver attempts and 3 Max Programming attempts per team.
Students this year will design robots for the Full Volume, details can be found here: https://www.vexrobotics.com/vexiq/competition/viqc-current-game
