Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

Agenda

9 am - buses arrive at AIT, teams will check in, turn in notebooks, and go to assigned tables

Robots need to pass an inspection before competing. Inspectors will be at or near the field with the robot sizing tool. Please prepare your robot at your table until you see that an opening is available to have the robot inspected.

9:20 am - Welcome and announcements from the event partner and guests

9:30 am - Skills competition begins (Teams may begin as soon as the welcome and announcements are over and as soon as your robot has passed inspection; you will be allowed 3 attempts to get your best score.)

10:00 am - Qualifying Matches (We will run the scheduler as soon as all teams have arrived and have been inspected. We will do our best to start on time, but plan to be flexible.)

11:30 am - Lunch (Instructions will be provided about where the lunch can be picked up, and we have set up a dining room for participants to eat. A changeover in volunteers due to class change will occur, and we will resume as quickly as we can.)

12:15 pm - Finals

1:00 pm - Awards
