General Info

Welcome to Ocoee Elementary School for the Ocoee RoboCoders Rapid Relay Rally.

Only the team members and one adult, in addition to the team coach, are allowed at the pit table at any time during the event.

Skills will be completed prior to qualification matches. It is up to the teams to plan out their time. 

THERE WILL BE NO ADDITIONAL SKILLS RUNS ONCE QUALIFICATION MATCHES BEGIN!

Please make sure that your teams have completed the Participant Release Form. Once per season is enough.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Volunteers are welcome.  Please contact Gavin Baker ( [email protected]) if you would like to help.

There will be one ref at each field.  Teams will be expected to be at the staging table during the match prior to theirs.

All teams are asked to insure that their tables are free of trash at the end of the day. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

There will be no refunds due to bad weather.  Every attempt will be made to reschedule if a cancellation is required.

Refund and Payment Policies

f the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Your registration fee will be refunded minus the fees robotevents.com charges. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Your registration to this event commits the event partners to set costs. Therefore, no refunds can be given. 

If payment is not received prior to the November 6th deadline, your team will be moved to the waiting list. 

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
