General Info

We are excited to invite teams into our school again this year!

The Innovators Assemble VIQRC Qualifier will be a qualifying event for the SC State Championships.  If teams wish to be judged and in the running for Design and Excellence awards, a digital copy of the Engineering Notebook must be uploaded to their RobotEvents account by January 21, 2025 at 5pm. If teams wish to be judged and in the running for the Innovate award, all required documentation per award criteria must be included on RobotEvents as well. This will allow our judges more time to review the notebooks and to prepare for interviews that will take place on the day of the event.

  • When teams arrive at Powdersville Middle School, they will enter through the car loop gym entrance. Signs will be posted for team/family entrance and volunteer entrance. Please adhere to the appropriate entrance signage to ensure a seamless entry process as we are getting setup the morning of the event. SEE TRAVEL INFO FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT PARKING.
  • Only registered team members and one coach will be allowed in the pit area in the cafeteria.  Tables will be set up and labeled with team numbers.  All other people associated with the teams including parents, siblings, and other spectators must remain in the stands or hallway.
  • We are looking into the possibility of offering light lunch and snack options in a concessions stand throughout the event. Details will be provided at least 2 weeks before the event if we are able to offer this. There are ample restaurant options within 5 minutes of the school for anyone wishing to go that route instead.
  • Interviews will be conducted durning the skills portion of our event.  A schedule for interviews will be sent out 2 weeks before the event along with more details. A printed copy will be given to teams when they check in the day of the event.
