General Info
This event will be held at Frances Slocum Elementary. 2909 South Torrence Street., Marion, IN 46952. It will be pretty relaxed giving students time to learn from each other.
Audience is permitted.
Please submit consent forms in advance to Robot Events.
These events will be from 5:00 pm until 7:30 pm and will include skills.
Skills will be offered during finals night event.
State Qualifying Awards: 2 state spots will be offered for Teamwork Champions
Non-State Qualifying Award: 1 Skills Champion

We understand that robots may be in a basic stage and driving practice may be limited at the first competition. That is to be expected. This is a time for students to learn from each other's robot designs and driving skills.
More specific information will be added as we are closer to our first competition date.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If there is ever a need to cancel an event due to weather, an email will be sent out by noon on the day of the event. Then it will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
If there is no school (due to weather) on a day when an event is scheduled, that evening's event will also be rescheduled.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
If the Event Partner cancels the event due to weather, that session will be rescheduled for a later time, but before the next scheduled session.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw within 2 weeks of the event the EP will refund all but $5 of the original cost as that goes to RobotEvents and cannot be refunded. If the Coach/Mentor does not notify the EP within 2 weeks prior to the first event date, then the money will not be refunded.
