General Info
This tournament is held on the last Monday of the Alabama National Fair at Garrett Coliseum.
The Fair will be charging a team (including coach) admission fee of $20 this year. That fee will be covered by your Robotevents registration fee. Next year, the registration will increase to $80 to cover this cost. Team members and coaches will be receiving wristbands for their admission. This covers the fair, but not the midway.
Parking is now free to all.
Parents and spectators are encouraged to buy tickets online ahead of time. All tickets will be $10 for Student Day (Monday, Oct. 14). The ticket can be scanned only once, and there are no passes out. They are not for sale yet, but when they are, you can buy them at https://alnationalfair.org/tickets/
*Clear bags are required for all, including participants.*
We will compete on two fields, and have a field for Skills.
Please patronize food vendors at the Fair for lunch. There will be a community Coke station in the coliseum with drinks for $4. This booth will be manned by volunteer groups, and $3 of every drink purchase goes to the group. If you know of an organization that would like to take a shift, please let me know.
