General Info

Welcome to the Belmont Bulldog Bash!

This is an IN-REGION ONLY event with priority given to teams who have not had a chance to register or compete yet this season. 

This event is set up the same as our Bulldog Bash last year. Please add your team to the waitlist. We will then move teams into the event based on the number of registered events they are in. 

GENERAL INFORMATION: Teams will be located in the gym at BHS. We will have concessions and do pizza orders. A detailed email will go out within a week of the event. 

JUDGING: We will have in-person judging where judges will come to teams to interview them. 

NOTEBOOKS: These will be DIGITAL submittals. Deadline to upload the digital link is Thursday, January 16th by 11:59pm EST.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

8:00am - 8:30am: Team Registration

8:00am - 8:45am: Inspection

8:45am - 9:00am: Opening Ceremony/Drivers Meeting

9:00am - 12:00pm: Qualification Matches and Skills Challenge

12:00pm - 12:30pm: Lunch

12:30pm - 2:30pm: Qualification Matches and Skills Challenge (Skills will close at the conclusion of the final qualification match regardless of time)

2:30pm - 3:30pm: Final Alliance Matches 

3:30pm - 4:00pm: Awards and Closing Ceremony

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

We will notify teams by Saturday evening if the event is to be cancelled.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event, then teams will be refunded the registration cost minus the $5.00 processing fee retained by RECF. If teams cancel, withdraw, or cannot compete, no refund will be given. 

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should submit a digital notebook. Deadline to upload the link to the DEN is Thursday, January 16th by 11:59pm EST
