Welcome to LT Robotics!
Every year we try to host a couple of comeptitions, and this would make our 4th year hosting! We are so excited to have you as part of the fun as these amazing scholars show off all the hard work they have been doing this season so far. Can't wait to see all the amazing designs and great sportsmanship!

Important Team Information:
Digital Engineering Notebooks! Physical notebooks will not be judged. Notebooks will be judged remotely and must be submitted by January 8th, 2024 at 5:00 pm to give judges enough time to look through them.
Spectators are allowed in the event.
Skills Challenges will be available to all teams, with 3 Max Driver attempts and 3 Max Programming attempts per team.
The top ten (10) teams from the qualification rounds will participate in the Finals. These ten (10) teams will be automatically paired into 5 Alliances. The top-scoring alliance (two teams) in the Finals will earn the Teamwork Champion Award.
Competition Preparation
This event is sure to be a fast-paced and exciting event. To help all teams prepare, here are a few tips for each team:
1. Review the rules and run through the inspection checklist about a week before the competition, so there is ample time for adjustments.
2. Check the official Game Manual for rule updates and changes.
3. Check the official QA Forums for rule updates and changes.
4. Carefully read all of the information contained in this tournament posting all updates will be posted here
5. Pack for the event the day before the day of departure. Here are a few items that you don't want to forget.
- Spare parts & tools
- Batteries and chargers
- Programming cable
- Power strip
- Laptop computer
- Engineering notebook.
6. Read through the Awards Appendix; there have been some minor changes to the awards process.
7. Prep for your interviews with the judges. Check the awards tab to see what awards will be given during the tournament.
8. Wifi/Internet access will not be available. Please plan accordingly.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If in the unfortunately circumstance that weather does not permit a competition to be held, an email will go out to the primary contact email for each team, and will follow the possible schedule below:
1. If a weather event is expected to be short lived prior to the event occuring, a delay may take place.
2. If weather is incoming while the event is taking place, an adapted schedule will be provided to end the event in a safe manner.
3. If weather does not permit the event happening, a refund will be given minus the $5 REC fee 30 days after the event was meant to be held.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: An option of a refund minus the $5 (REC fee) or registration for an upcomming competition hosted by LT Robotics if space allows.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: If a coach/mentor withdraws more than 2 weeks ahead of the comeptition a refund minus the $5 (REC fee) will be issued. If a coach/mentor withdraws with less than 2 weeks till the competition there will be no refund.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
NOTEBOOK DIGITAL SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE BY WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8TH.
