Jackson Area Robotics and the UofM Lambuth are excited to see you at the Rapid Relay Buzzer Beater.

Payment is due two weeks after a team is registered or immediately if after January 27, 2025, unless other arrangements are made with the EP. All teams not paid after two weeks of registration will be moved to the waitlist and may be added back in IF there is still room on the roster. Simply emailing to let us know that you have initiated the process, but it may take longer than two weeks, is absolutley sufficient to hold your spot.
Due to the strict, in-house catering policy at the UofM Lambuth only teams that order lunches will be able to dine in the building. JAR is not making any money from these lunches and is only charging actual costs. Teams that choose not to order lunches must plan to eat outdoors. There is a lovely patio area and large quad area for those teams who choose to bring their own lunches. Fast food is not quickly accessible to the campus, so planning ahead is critical. Everyone is also encouraged to bring their own refillable water bottles as no outside drinks are permissible. Thank you for understanding.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event that an emergency arises or inclement weather threatens to affect the tournament, email notifications will be sent.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be issued if event is cancelled by EP. Refunds will NOT include the $5 processing fee collected by Robot Events.
If a Coach/Mentor/Team completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
As a general rule, refunds will NOT be issued. However, we understand that unforseen circumstances come up. Please contact us as partial refund may be possible if your spot can be filled by another team.
All registrations must be paid in full two weeks after team is registered, or immediately, if after Jan. 27, 2025, unless other arrangements have been made with EP. Unpaid teams will be moved to the Waitlist two weeks after registration and may be added back in IF there is room on the roster. If your registration payment process takes longer than two week, clear communication will keep teams from being moved to the Waitlist.

Judging Format
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
