General Info
Tennessee Valley Robotics and Chattanoog State Community College are excited to welcome you to the Rapid Relay VEX IQ RC season.
This tournament is designed for NEW/Rookie TEAMS who would benefit from a "low-stress" introduction to the competition environment. Teams, Coaches, and/or Organizations should be new to Vex Competitions.
This event will give teams a push to get started, and be more aware of what a competition looks and feels like.
VOLUNTEERS are a necessary part of every event. Each team should provide an adult volunteer to become more familiar with the competition structures and evironment, and a knowledge base of how to better support their individual team member(s). A sign-up link will be posted in September for selecting a specific volunteer role.
Chick-fil-A advanced orders for sandwhich boxes or salads will be accepted up to 5 business days prior to the event, Monday, November 4, 2024. A google form will be distributed to each registered organization. You are also welcome to make your own arrangements.
All team members and adults must have the RECF waiver completed. Instructions avialable at this link. https://kb.roboticseducation.org/hc/en-us/articles/7119161700759-Participant-Release-Form
Payment is due two weeks after a team is registered or immediately if after November 1, 2024, unless other arrangements are made with the EP. All teams not paid after two weeks of registration will be moved to the waitlist and may be added back in, IF there is still room on the roster. If your registration payment process takes longer than two weeks, clear communication will keep teams from being moved to the Waitlist.
Team swapping policy will be strictly followed as outlined in this article. https://kb.roboticseducation.org/hc/en-us/articles/8337081839895-Team-Swapping-Policy-in-Event-Registrations#:~:text=The%20following%20policy%20was%20instituted,be%20swapped%20from%20that%20organization.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.
