General Info

This is an invitation only event. Sumner County and Murfreesboro City School teams will have until December 1 to accept their invitation. Then, spots will be made available to other teams. 

Payment is due by 1/20/25. If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact Dale Sadler. 

Only teams that have not already qualified for state can attend this event.

If you are outside Sumner County and want to attend, add yourself to the wait list. 

Additional information regarding directions, campus maps, times, and food information will be added closer to the tournament date.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please email [email protected]. Participants will be required to submit the VEX liability release form through robotevents.com.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Volunteer

If you are planning to do your own tournament eventually, this is a great way to get some experience.

Volunteers are essential to a successful tournament. Please consider volunteering. No prior experience is necessary. Please email [email protected] to sign up. Volunteers will receive any training necessary and a full day of inspiration working with incredibly talented youth.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, updates will be made by email.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

  • Refunds will be given, minus the $5 processing fee from the REC Foundation.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

  • No refund will be given.
