General Info

The Robots, Pumpkins, and Knights VEXIQ Robotics Compeition will be held at White Pine Middle School in Ely, NV.  Ely is running a Renaissance Festival at the same time just across the street.  We will plan to allow teams time to visit the Renaissance Faire.  Every team will get at least 8 matches.  Every team will get interviewed for awards.  We promise to hold a high-quality tournament for all involved.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Be safe.  This tournament is early enough that snow shouldn't be an issue, but if it is, we will cancel and issue refunds.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: refunds will be given as quickly as possible.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Refunds will generally not be given.  Please contact the Event Partner if their is a special circumstance that needs to be known about.

 

Judging Format

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. All notebooks must be submitted by October 5, 2024.
