General Info

Welcome to the Stanley BPS 2023-2024 VIQRC Full Volume Tournament!

In an effort to provide more competition opportunities, we are working with REC Foundation to host this additional tournament for the 23-24 season! This is our innaugral event and we look forward to hosting you and your teams in Denver Saturday February 10th. This will be a performance-only event and not include judging. However, there will be qualifying awards and skills challenges offered. 

Stay tuned for on-going updates as we finalize logistics. We would love volunteers from each team/organization. Please reach out if you are interested!

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Volunteer

Since this is our first event, we anticipate a lot of volunteer support within our community but we would love if 1-2 volunteers from each participating organization with prior experience volunteering.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of inclement weather, the tournament will be canceled. 

Refund and Payment Policies

Payment Deadline:

Payments for this tournament are due the Tuesday prior to the event @ 8:00 PM MST

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be available minus the $5.00 REC Foundation fee. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus the $5.00 non-refundable RobotEvents fee

Judging Format

Due to the quick turnaround in creating and hosting this event, we will not be offering judging.
