General Info

DC VEX IQ State Championship:  This is a VEX IQ World's competition QUALIFYING EVENT 

Qualification is required to register for this event

DETAILS

  • This event will be held in-person

  • Interview Judging will be held in-person

  • Notebooks will be judged remotely - Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. All notebooks should be submitted by midnight on 2/27/2024. 

  • We will hold approximately 7 rounds of Teamwork Challenges along with Skills

  • There will be a practice table

  • Food will NOT be served at the venue, please make arrangements with your team to bring or order food

  • There is street parking only so please plan accordingly 

  • Our event will be held from 9 to 2pm, teams should plan to arrive between 9:00-9:30 for inspection

  • Inspection will start at 9:00 am and the event should end by 2pm.

SCHEDULE

  • If a team does not show up, the timed schedule must be changed to reflect the team's present

  • The times are tentative and your team may perform earlier or later, please check the schedule once you arrive.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions:  Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The submission deadline for this event is by midnight on 2/27/2024. 

In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.
