General Info

This event is for teams who have attended less than 2 events.  Please add yourself to the waitlist.

 

Thank you for your interest in the Region 8 ESC VEX Robotics Competition!  We are excited about offering this as an invitational tournament.  If you are interested in participating in the tournament, please join the waitlist.  First round information was sent to coaches of Region 8 ESC schools, teams outside of the Region 8 ESC service area will be invited in early January just after the break.

The event will be held on the 2nd floor of the Region 8 ESC.  Our physical address is 4845 US Highway 271 North, Pittsburg, TX  75686. 

Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. that morning and check-in will begin at 8:30.

We will not have spectator seating available at the tournament.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an emergency, Region 8 ESC will contact registered teams.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be issued to all registered teams.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds will be issued up to 14 days prior to the event.  Refunds will not be issued after that time except in the case of extenuating circumstances.

Travel Info

The ESC is located on US Highway 271 approximately 5 miles south of Mount Pleasant and 5 miles north of Pittsburg.  Multiple hotels are available in Mount Pleasant.  If you have questions about housing arrangements, please contact Kerri.  [email protected].

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
