Welcome to the Arlington Elementary School VEX IQ Competition! Arlington Elementary School is excited to host your robotics team(s).

Teams are not guarenteed a spot until payment is made. Unpaid teams will remain on the list until all of the spots are full. Please contact Alejandro Rodriguez Olvera if there are considerations to be made.

This event is an invitational. Teams in 0 or 1 event will have priority for this event.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

8:30am: Check-In Deadline (Teams not checked in will be left off the match schedule)
8:45am: Drivers Meeting
9:00am: Qualification Matches Start
12:00pm: Qualifications and Skills Matches stop

[ 1 hour Lunch Break] 


1:00pm: Qualifications Matches continue, Skills match attempts stop 
2:15pm:  Qualification matches end (tentatively)
2:30 pm: Finals matches and awards
3:30 pm: Event over, Event Clean-up

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of bad weather forecasts, please contact Alejandro Rodriguez Olvera at (574) 535 - 8886. 

We will reschedule events to a date within two weeks of prior date when possible. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: A refund will be made, minus the $5.00 RECF fee. 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: no refund will be available.

Registration is now open to teams who not registered to multiple events this season. All other teams may register starting on 3-Mar-2024 07:00 EST.

Registering for the event: 

1. Select the "Waitlist" tab. 

2. Add your team(s) to the event. 

3. Teams from the list will be added to the event only if your team meets the requirements and if space is available.
