General Info

 Please read through all TABS.

Payment is due within two weeks of registration for the event.  Teams who do not pay within two weeks after registering for the event will be moved to the waitlist.  If the payment is received after two weeks of registration teams spots for the waitlisted teams will be assigned based on the availability.

This will be an in person tournament with judging. 

Notebook Format: Digital must be submitted by January 23rd, 2024

We will be in the school gym, both for the competition and the pit area.  

All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct.

All participants are expected to complete the participant release form (also available in Spanish). Completing this form once per season covers all events.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

7.30AM to 8.30AM:  Doors open, team check-in, and inspection 

8.45 AM:  Opening ceremonies and Driver Meeting 

9.00 AM:  Drivers meeting

9.15:  Qualification Matches begin

12:00 PM: Lunch 

1:15 PM: Qualification Matches Continue

3:15 PM: Finals Matches

4PM to 4.30PM: Awards and Tear Down

If the event is canceled, coaches will be notified by email.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: There will be no refunds

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: There will be no refunds

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
