General Info
Congratulations to all qualifying teams! We are so proud of the hard work from all of the South Florida Region VEX IQ teams.
Please read though all the pages for this event. We have an exciting day that is sure to be fun for families duiring the event. We really hope you enjoy your day at Terra Environmental Research Institute.
All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct .
All participants are expected to have already completed the participant release form . (also available in Spanish) Once per season covers all events.
Note: Ensure your IT does not block emails from robotevents.com and roboticseducation.org
Judging Format: Physical notebooks will be collected at check-in. Please be sure to print digital notebooks in advance in order to submit at check-in. In person interviews will be conducted at the event throuhout the day. Please visit the agenda tab for specific times.

Doors open at 7:30 AM (Check-in, notebook submission, and Inspections begin)
Check-in / Inspections COMPLETE at 8:45 (FIRM-- please bring robots ready to compete)
Opening ceremonies / Driver’s meeting 9:00 AM
Qualifying matches begin / Skills fields open at 9:45 AM
Lunch break 12:00-12:45 PM (Skills fields are closed during lunch)
Qualifying matches resume at 12:45 PM
Skills field closes at 4:30 PM
Alliance Finals 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Awards and Closing ceremonies 5:30 PM

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Given that this event is in March in Florida, we are expecting to have a beautiful day for our event!
You will be notified of any cancellations on the event page under the Bad Weather Policy tab. Please make sure that we have the team coaches' cell phone number in the registration.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
As this is a championship event, only an emergency would cause the event date or location to change, not be canceled. Your registeration to this event commits the event partners to set costs. Therefore, no refunds can be given.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
